Boracay: Puka Beach
Puka Beach is situated on the north end of Boracay Island. The name was derived due to the abundance of Puka shells in the area. From the famous White Beach, its approximately 4 kilometers of travel. Those who are seeking to test their physical limits can opt to rent a bike and traverse the uphill/downhill path towards Puka Beach.

Boracay: Fairways and Bluewaters
On our fourth day at Boracay, we went to a resort called Fairways and Bluewaters. The gloomy weather did not prevent us from appreciating the beauty of the resort. The resort features a golf course, a butterfly garden, a posh restaurant and pool as well as a white sand beach complete with beautiful rock formations. Too bad the weather was cloudy but nevertheless here are some pics taken from Boracay Fairways and Bluewaters.

Boracay : Paraw
Its been a while since my last post. I've been busy accomplishing my academic requirements and now that I have earned my Bachelor's Degree in ECE, its time to relax and unwind a bit before taking the Licensure Exams. I got the chance to go on a 6 day trip to Boracay. Featured here are the famous Paraws(sailboat) of Boracay. The sky was very cooperative and I just cant help but capture such a dramatic scene.

We had no more laboratory experiments and our teacher (who happens to be a photography buff) brought with him his studio lightings. I had fun shooting my classmates.

Doulos : Knowledge, Help and Hope
I got a chance to visit MV Doulos today despite my hectic schedule. MV Doulos is the world's largest floating library bringing books and aid all over the world. What's touching is that the crew are volunteers from different nations. More pics to follow..

Bacoloadiat 2009
This is only the 4th Bacolaodiat Festival and it has already come a long way. Hopefully this will become a staple event just like the Masskara Festival. The festival center was situated in the Capitol Shopping District which is sort of the Chinatown of Bacolod City. The streets were lighted by various lanterns and alongside the streets are the 12 animals of the zodiac. The overall ambiance resembles that of a street in China. Congratulations to the organizers and Happy Year of the Ox.
